Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a Fall Arrest Installation Engineer. The successful Fall Arrest Installations Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient on-site installation of fall protection and rope access equipment. Your work will ensure these systems meet the highest industry standards and are installed in accordance with design drawings and scope of works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Lead Engineer throughout the installation process.
  • Ensure all installations comply with the Method Statement and approved drawings.
  • Install, inspect, and maintain fall arrest equipment on major construction sites and live buildings, adhering to British Standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain and care for all company equipment, materials, and vehicles.
  • Complete all PTSG paperwork promptly and accurately, requiring basic IT literacy for email reporting and project-specific online portals.
  • Uphold a professional company image by wearing corporate clothing and keeping the company van clean and tidy.

Skills & Experience:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working at heights (desirable).
  • Excellent time management and flexibility to meet business needs.
  • Problem-solving skills to overcome on-site challenges.
  • Experience in a small team setting.
  • Practical experience with the installation and testing of fixings in construction or related environments.
  • CSCS Card holder.
  • Physically fit and capable of working at heights.
  • High personal pride and a drive to succeed.
  • Full driving license.
