JB430 Pipe Fitter

Location: Manchester

Salary: £19 - £23 per hour

Hours: 07:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday & 07:00 - 15:30 on Friday 44 Hour

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Pipe Fitter on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Pipe Fitter:

Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools and equipment; Threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine
Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques
Attach pipes to structures and bend into position
Sealing routes of pipework and ensuring water ingress is eliminated
Perform test on your work or work of others to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints
Welding, soldering, brazing, fusing of pipework
Read and interpret specifications to determine layout requirements; Plan and install piping systems in industrial units/vehicles

Skills and Qualifications for the Pipe Fitter:

You have an excellent understanding of the manufacturing process
