JB434: Driver / Yardman

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Location: Leeds

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Driver / Yardman on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Hours are 0800 – 1700 Monday to Thursday 0800 – 1600 Friday (39 hours).

Duties and Responsibilities for the Driver / Yardman:

The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and delivering materials to site, maintaining the cleanliness & organisation of the site, material handling and site logistics.
Drive and operate vehicles above 3.5 tonne.
Maintain the organisation, cleanliness and safety of the construction yard, ensuring materials are stored appropriately.
Safely load and unload materials, tools and equipment onto vehicles.
Assist with general site tasks, including basic site maintenance and preparation.
Monitor and report on the stock of materials and consumables in the yard.
Perform daily checks on vehicles and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.

Skills and Qualifications for the Driver / Yardman:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Driver / Yardman.
Previous experience is essential.
Must hold a full clean driving licence that enables you to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
