KM124: Freight Operator
Location: Earl Shilton
Salary: £35,000 + twice-yearly bonus

Our client has experienced fantastic growth in its European Roadfreight division over recent years and aspires to be an industry leader in European Overland services. We have a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join a strong and dynamic team.
You will be responsible for the daily operations of some of our key clients, making sure that their goods are delivered quickly and cost effectively via our wide network of services and partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Day to day operations of Roadfreight Accounts
- Be the main point of contact for some of our key clients
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and gain a deep understanding of the client’s
- requirements
- Using your knowledge and expertise to best manage shipment flows and find solutions for the client
- Daily handling of shipments / quotes / queries
Customer Service
- We are all about our customers. You will need to understand their individual requirements and build strong and lasting relationships with them.
- Prompt responses and excellent service levels are expected. You will strive to meet these expectations every day.
- You will input relevant information into our internal system and follow our procedures.
Responsibility
- You will take ownership of your workload and enjoy managing tasks without constant guidance.
- You want to progress in your career, learn from our knowledgeable and friendly team, and help the company grow as we go forward.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Ambitions to develop your career further.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in a customer facing role.
- Previous experience within European Roadfreight is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrable skills within a customer facing role would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning and attention to detail.
- Ideally educated to A-Level standard, Degree level would be preferential.
