Duties and Responsibilities:

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for Security Warden Supervisor. The hours for this role are 4 on 4 off over both nights & days with 12-hour shifts,7am – 7pm four days & 7pm – 7am four nights.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Warden team during the assigned shift ensuring the smooth operation and adherence to security and emergency response protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervising and providing guidance to a team of Wardens during your designated shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the required level.

- Providing the first line response when management issues arise during a shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out work assignments issued and maximize effectiveness of the shift at all times by ensuring efficient completion of tasks.
- Demonstrate a team approach with regard to maintenance and hygiene of equipment and support (teams of) Logistics.
- Provide support to the team during breaks and absences and work together to ensure completion of their duties.

- Ensure all parts removed from stores while on shift are booked out of stores in the correct way.
- Where necessary, must initiate the purchase of parts or equipment completing the relevant order requisition forms with relevant information.
- Provide the Engineering manager with information on all engineering downtime attended on shift, related quality issue, work orders completed, PM’s completed and other details as required.
- Identify and analyse problems before crises and determine appropriate action and follow up.
- Ensure remedial works on site is raised by work order or PM’s are highlighted to the Manager.
- Work closely with Logistics teams. Work under supervision of engineering managers. Ensure that
- handovers are smooth and efficient whilst sharing relevant information with other engineers.

- Capable of instructing un-skilled/semi-skilled people in simple operations of equipment.
- Use of power tools, drills, grinders, cutting equipment, saws, files, presses.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a Continuous Personal Development (CPD) portfolio in respect of new technologies and equipment, ensuring lesson plans and training sessions are developed in accordance with the approved Learner Specifications; Course specifications and Course Training Plans.
- Review course material and content ensuring it is current and evolves to support equipment and technology advances, using the most appropriate training aids.
- Assessment of trainees to include: creation of written examinations and progress test papers, creation of practical assessment / examination scenarios and continuous assessments. Marking of examination papers, setting and marking of course and homework and invigilation of examinations and assessments.
- Ensuring trainee development through monitoring, feedback appraisal, discipline and training interventions, ensuring all supporting documentation are maintained and that any special trainee developmental needs or training delays are flagged to the Lead Trainer (LT).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Vehicle Technician background (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum)
- Strong team player – ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Organised, great time management and proactive manner
- Clear and effective communication – written and verbal
- Workshop experience with proven diagnostic skills (Light vehicle or HGV), military leavers with vehicle inspection experience (HGV or armoured) would be beneficial as well but not essential.
