Location – Forfar
Salary – £28,000 + uncapped commission
Job Type – Full-time, permanent
Overview:
We are currently recruiting a salesperson to join our client’s existing sales team at their depot in Forfar. The successful candidate will be based in and cover the North Angus and Aberdeenshire area. A background in Field Sales is preferable but will also consider those with engineering knowledge looking to move into a sales position.
This role would consist of the sale, demonstration, and operation of a variety of Groundcare, ATV, compact tractor, and construction equipment covering the Aberdeenshire and Angus area.
Ideal for someone with mechanical experience or industry knowledge who is looking to make their way into sales. This is a customer-facing role that consists of a lot of communication with both existing and new customers, liaising with internal departments, answering customer inquiries, and ensuring records are kept up to date.
Your day-to-day would consist of covering sales both within our showroom as well as going on-site to customers to demonstrate and sell equipment, ensuring consistent communication with customers, providing updates, and answering queries.
Our client also attends a variety of shows and events throughout the year which would require their sales team to be in attendance.

Essential skills/experience:
- Full driving license essential (with trailer preferred)
- Experience or knowledge of the industry (this can be from a mechanical background, Grounds keeping, or any other roles that offer experience or knowledge of the equipment)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Good Practical skills
- Customer-focused with an outgoing personality
