AL716: Night Dispatcher / Coordinator
Location: Enfield, London
Salary: £32,000
Shifts: Sunday to Thursday, 23:00 pm – 08:00 am
Overview: Ensure smooth night shift operations, prioritizing communication from drivers, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage night shift activities.
- Prioritize driver calls/messages, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Track driver progress, plan recovery for failed deliveries, and create comprehensive shift reports.
- Debrief drivers, record agency staff hours.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs, prepare driver packs for day routes.
- Oversee day route start, address queries, and provide a detailed email handover to the Operations team.
Qualifications:
- Strong multitasking and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours rules (desirable).
- Detail-oriented with report creation skills.
- Adaptability to handle emergencies.
- Proficiency in relevant software/tools.
