LT69: Trainee Escape Systems Technician
Location: Tetbury
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 per annum depending on age and experience
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Trainee Escape Systems Technician on behalf of one of our clients.
A specialist hands-on role, the trainee will have the opportunity to work with all aspects of the business servicing & maintaining ejection seats, for both the military and civilian sectors. This will take place at scheduled intervals to approved requirements and industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Servicing & maintaining survival equipment to company/OEM manuals & guidelines.
- Performing scheduled maintenance and safety policies on all aspects of the escape system.
- Disassembly, testing & fault finding of survival equipment/escape systems.
- Repair & replace of components.
- Performing operational and functional tests of equipment.
- Repair & replace of components.

- No previous experience is necessary in escape systems, however a willingness and interest in practical applications and aviation would be advantageous.
- Must have a background from within engineering with minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience.
