Salary - £26,000 per annum

Overview:
We are currently recruiting a Sales Assistant for our client’s depot in Forfar, this role is ideal for anyone with a retail or hospitality background, looking for something different.
No two days are the same. This role is in their showroom and will aid in the sale, handover, demonstration, and installation of our vast variety of Lawn and Garden and Groundcare equipment. You will also spend time within our parts department, dealing with counter sales, internal goods, and customer inquiries.
You will work with their existing sales, administration, parts, and workshop teams daily to ensure consistent communication throughout the business as well as during the participation of company open days and events.
With a wide area of responsibilities, they are looking for someone confident in working independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Knowledge or previous experience in parts is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided in the areas required.

Essential Experience/Skills:
- Full driving license
- Experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, sales, hospitality)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Outgoing personality
- Good practical skills
- Customer-focused, hard working, and trustworthy
- Excellent memory
Preferred but not essential:
- Trailer licence
- Nat 5 in English and Maths
- Previous experience/knowledge of parts
- Mechanical knowledge
