MB621: Production Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm + overtime available + Company share scheme

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Engineer on behalf of one of our fantastic clients who require someone to be located at their Manchester depot.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned, preventive and reactive mechanical maintenance to production plant and equipment.
Diagnose faults accurately and timely, and identify correct solutions to rectify, ensuring all internal documents i.e. service reports and logs are completed to a high standard.
Mechanical fault finding.
Maintain and service a range of machinery.
Take pride in work to ensure the machines are kept in a pristine state.

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, pulleys, bearings, shafts and gearboxes.
Good understanding of health safety.
Experienced in the use of workshop equipment.
Experience in a production engineering role desirable.
Computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel desirable).
