MB359 – Apprentice Recruitment Consultant
Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester
Salary: £12,000 + uncapped commission (£16,000 - £18,000 realistic 1st year OTE)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Apprentice Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding Gloucester office.

First Military Recruitment are a trusted partner with a mission to identify the very best ex-military and defence sector talent that is on the market. Our candidates are predominantly ex-Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force (RAF) and we specialise in technical, engineering, leadership, ex-military recruitment and have the capacity to fill any vacancies from the shop floor to the boardroom.

It is a challenging and fast paced environment so it is imperative that you can adapt to the ever-changing environment. No two days are the same.

The opportunity within First Military Recruitment is far beyond an apprenticeship. We hope after your 12 months apprenticeship that you can become a fully-fledged Recruitment Consultant with us. The opportunity to progress into management is also there and we will support you in your journey with us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Liaising confidently and professionally with clients and candidates as well as other offices across the company.
Supporting consultants by resourcing for candidates; identifying candidates through search and selection.
Manage incoming enquiries from both candidates and clients.
Maintain client information.
Advertise vacancies on company website, job boards and social media platforms.
Interview and assess prospective applicants and match their skills and experience with client’s needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

English Language (GCSE) - C minimum.
Maths (GCSE) – C minimum.
Confident, Personable and robust nature.
Strong character and hunger for success.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisation skills.
Strong IT skills – MS office.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Desire to learn new skills.
Great time management.
Confidence to work independently.
Friendly and chatty.
Not afraid to put forward ideas.
