MB402: Semi Skilled Vehicle Technician
Location: Ruislip, London
Salary: £30,000 + 13% shift allowance + Excellent overtime rates
Working Hours: Rotating shift pattern from Monday to Friday 6am-2.30pm & 1.30pm-10pm

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit multiple Semi Skilled Vehicle Technician on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Ruislip (London) depot.

The Semi Skilled Vehicle Technician isn't an ordinary Mechanic position. This position will provide an opportunity to work on some fantastic fire fighting vehicles and enhance your mechanical knowledge on the wider spectrum in addition to offering exceptional career advancement opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose faults and test vehicles utilising equipment available and using recognised test procedures and techniques. Including road testing where deemed necessary.
Work in an efficient and productive manner, achieving the targets set out and agreed with Workshop Supervisors or Manager.
Operate a 'Fix First Time' way of working ensuring quality of work is at the utmost standard and meets/exceeds any inspection carried out against it.
Drive in a manner within the parameters of the law.

Skills and Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Proactive
Ability to work well in team and on own
Ability to prioritise work orders
Attention to details
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
PC Literate
