JG194 – Plant Operator
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £150 - £175 Per Day DOE
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Plant Operator.
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as excavators
Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators.
- Operate our 8t,14t, 16t & 20t excavator machines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Wear required PPE and ensure equipment is operated in line with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, fuel consumption, maintenance logs, and daily operation reports.
- Help in the preparation of construction sites by moving earth, rock, or materials and levelling ground surfaces in line with project specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification for operating specific machinery (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent).
- A valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a construction setting.
