Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Project Manager:
- Managing all aspects and types of projects through the business, from large production lines to small table-top units
- Meet overall project objectives for quality, delivery and cost
- Manage & resolve key project risks & issues
- Maintain a clear understanding of the current scope of work throughout the project & manage the commercial impact of any changes
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure that projects run smoothly and that technical information is passed on correctly
- Corresponding with customers and suppliers on technical issues
Skills and Qualifications for the Project Manager:
- A project manager with an appreciation for project engineering
- Experience of managing projects in a technical environment, ideally with extended project life cycles (2 years+)
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry sector with an understanding of GMP and validation principles would be advantageous
- Systematic approach to their work with attention to detail
- Excellent at building & maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders
- Strong customer focus
- Able to work effectively with people across departments and shop floor staff
