Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement of processes, using Lean tools, participating in and leading Kaizens.
- Process engineering, problem solving and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
- Managing and presenting data and improvement plans.
- Support NPI and specification of new equipment.
- Manage change process and documentation.
- Responsibility for all moulding processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with Lean methodology.
- Problem solving skills and methodology.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- IT skills (Excel Visio).
- Practical hands-on person.
- Leadership skills.
- Project management experience.
- Significant process engineering exposure in an engineering-based manufacturing environment.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of materials (rubber, metallurgy, plastics).
- Basic finance.
- CAD skills.
