Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Housekeeper on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize 70 guest rooms daily, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, following hotel protocols.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock guest room amenities.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain a pristine environment.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with hotel health and safety guidelines.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or malfunctioning equipment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or inquiries regarding housekeeping services.
- Respect guests’ privacy and maintain confidentiality.
- Work closely with the housekeeping team, supervisors, and front desk staff to ensure rooms are ready on time for guest arrivals.
Skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to manage physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
