BJ85 - Warehouse and Distribution Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours Per Week)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse and Distribution Manager on behalf of our client based in Bristol. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To make sure both internal and external customers get what they want, where they want it, when they want it
To provide an industry leading service which is cost effective, compliant with all current legislation, and as safe as reasonably practicable
To ensure the warehouse units are kept safe, clean and tidy
To manage the main warehouse staff so they perform their functions efficiently and effectively
To manage the drivers to ensure legislative compliance, safety and efficient use of resources
To implement all aspects of the company health and safety policy

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience within Management in a similar environment
A minimum of 12 months experience within a warehouse and distribution environment with experience of both warehouse and driving operations
An understanding of current legislation governing transport operations
Ideally First Aid trained but not essential
