JE145: Heat and Air Pump Engineer
Location: Wigan
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Heat and Air Pump Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service and maintenance of ASHP and GSHP
- Install plumbing systems in new construction projects or renovations
- Inspect and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on job sites
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to safety standards and building codes at all times
- In addition to your normal duties, you may occasionally be required to undertake additional work necessary to meet the needs of the business, without additional remuneration
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Plumber or relevant role
- G3 unvented is ideal but training can be given
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble and disassemble plumbing components
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Technical fault finding of some description preferable
- Demonstrable success in the technical arena
- Ability to lead and motivate teams
- Sound understanding of all commercial aspects associated with projects
- Ability to work alongside large parent organisation
- Carpentry skills for minor construction tasks
- Familiarity with different types of pipes and fitting
