Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Salary: £45,000
Overview:
A great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the electrical aspects of renewable energy installations, including solar PV and heat pump systems. This role offers involvement in end-to-end project delivery from planning through to commissioning, with a strong focus on compliance and quality assurance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical teams across renewable installations (solar, heat pumps).
- Carry out desktop surveys and ensure compliance with BS7671 and other standards.
- Oversee grid applications and DNO coordination.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and quality checks of electrical systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics and maintain certification documentation.
- Ensure H&S compliance and deliver toolbox talks.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- ECS Gold Card or equivalent (essential).
- Strong experience supervising electrical work in renewables.
- Good knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, and grid requirements.
- Health & safety awareness and site management practices.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualifications.
- Experience with battery storage or EV charger installations.
- MCS and PAS 2030 experience.
- SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent site supervision qualification.
