MB809: Warehouse and Distribution Associate
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £27,000pa + £3,000 OTE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays 8am till 5pm

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Warehouse and Distribution Associate on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Wolverhampton depot.

As a Warehouse and Distribution Associate, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing various aspects of the distribution and sales process. This includes ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse logistics, maintaining a safe working environment, and liaising with new and existing customers with telephone and email enquiries. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage daily warehouse operations, including goods in/out, storage, and dispatch.
Oversee and ensure smooth and timely distribution processes.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movement, and deliveries.
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email, building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Support the sales and distribution team with administrative and operational tasks.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to enhance overall efficiency.
Contribute to a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Skills & Experience:

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is desirable but not essential.
Comfortable using standard IT systems, including email and inventory software.
