BJ144 - Maintenance Technician
Location: Ascot
Salary: £30,000 Per Annum
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Occasional weekend work for specific events)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician on behalf of our fantastic client based in Ascot. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious estate with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To carry out general repairs to the premises.
To carry out stock control, account for goods and materials held is stock for future use and keeping the Maintenance Team Leader informed of any materials requiring ordering.
To manufacture and install carpentry and joinery items.
To undertake bricklaying, concreting, plastering and roof repairs and other similar maintenance work.
To carry out duties on days of events as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Ideally hold a City & Guilds in bricklaying, carpentry, or a similar trade qualification.
Significant knowledge and experience of buildings maintenance and construction.
Be able to work at times with little or no supervision and have the ability to work under pressure.
Professional appearance.
Proactive and flexible attitude and a strong team player.
Be able to lift heavy items, using equipment provided where needed.
Hold a current, valid Driving Licence.
