Salary: £26,111 per annum + Monthly Bonus
Overview:
First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Sales Advisor to join their team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual to deliver outstanding service while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy branch, with full training provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist both trade and retail customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Build strong customer relationships and recommend suitable products for individual projects.
- Provide expert product advice and support to customers.
- Process customer orders accurately using the company computer system.
- Communicate with customers via telephone and email.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure branch documentation is organised.
- Receive, check and process customer orders and incoming deliveries.
- Keep the branch and warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.
- Merchandise new products and maintain attractive product displays.
- Ensure stock is stored safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and report any concerns.
- Support the wider branch team to achieve excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Promote additional products and maximise sales opportunities where appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications:
- No previous experience required – full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software.
- Willingness to develop product knowledge and sales skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable and committed to delivering high standards.
- Awareness of Health and Safety responsibilities in the workplace.
